Mike Baker – Director IT and Software Development

Mike has 30 years of technology related experience, 18 years of which have been in management or executive level positions. Mike Baker founded Accent Solutions in May 2002, which now maintains now has nearly 300 clients across the country with the largest client having over 6,000 employees and 300 locations. Mike was the founder, President and CEO of AcroSoft Corporation, a provider of document management software with the focus of developing software for the medium to large Property and Casualty insurance companies. Mike was a systems architect, and a primary designer, and subsequently a department manager for Policy Management Systems Corporation (PMSC) document management and imaging solutions. During his tenure at PMSC, Mike’s innovative approach to software control methods enabled PMSC to provide commercial licenses to their customer. Mike earned a B.S. degree in Applied Computer Science.

Tim Carpenter – Director of Sales

Tim Carpenter is the founder and CEO of Concept HR. In 1985, Tim became an agent and broker dealer for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company specializing in life insurance, disability income and investment needs where Tim sold over $100 million of combined insurance coverage. Tim founded Concept HR with a vision of offering a more effective and efficient way for small business owners to manage their HR-related functions. Concept HR now has over 200 clients representing more than 12,000 employees in 27 states using its HR platform. Tim is involved with all aspects of Concept HR including creating current business models, banking, legal, accounting, operations, management, public relations, sales, product design and product pricing. Tim is also involved with a number of other entities as stockholder and managing partner. Tim is a graduate of the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He received a Bachelor Degree in both Insurance and Economic Security and Marketing. Tim is also a graduate of the Career Agent School in Milwaukee, WI. Tim is a resident of Aiken, South Carolina. He has been married for over 28 years and has two grown children.

Brad Wilson

As former owner and chief technology officer of a South Carolina web firm for eight years, Brad was responsible for the implementation of strategic web solutions for informational, e-commerce, and custom programming websites. He has thorough experience in all aspects of web development, including automation of business processes, web design, custom programming, web hosting and email, search engine marketing, social media marketing, and pay-per-click advertising. Brad has been working in the technology industry for more than 20 years. He holds a Computer Science Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has worked as a Web consultant and programmer for Bank of America, Accenture / Anderson Consulting, Wachovia Bank, and the IRS.

Todd Mitchell, CPA, CFO

Todd has over 30 years of experience providing strategic and financial business advice to entrepreneurs and top management. Todd is the founder of CEO Solutions, LLC, a management consulting firm that provides hands-on assistance with mergers & acquisitions, business turnarounds, and strategic planning facilitation.

Todd’s vast experience stems from working in companies such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand), Shenkin Kurtz Baker & Co., PC (now CBIZ), and Elliott Davis, LLC, a regional Top 60 CPA firm. Todd founded Elliott Davis’ Management Consulting Group, becoming a member of the firm’s executive committee and the firm’s managing shareholder. As the managing shareholder, Todd guided the firm to strong growth of revenues and profitability while becoming a workplace of choice.

  • And speaks nationally for the AICPA

Todd has an MBA from Indiana University, and received the Top Graduate Accounting Student award from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business. He also holds a BA degree from Hillsdale College in Michigan, majoring in accounting and economics and earning summa cum laude honors.

Todd’s success in teaming with entrepreneurs motivated him to create CEO Solutions so that he could invest in select client opportunities where he and his firm are directly involved in developing higher levels of success for the company.
